Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Pantry meal planning service operated by Just Pantry Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14135727) whose registered office is Suites 10 - 12 The Hive, Bell Lane, Stevenage, Herts, United Kingdom, SG1 3HW. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the Pantry service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Pantry provides a personalised meal planning platform that generates weekly meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists based on your dietary preferences and goals. Features may change or be discontinued at our discretion.
3. Account Registration
You must register for an account to use the service. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and not share it with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
4. Subscription and Payment
Some features of Pantry need a paid subscription, Standard. Standard costs £14.99 a month, in British pounds (GBP). We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged: the price is the total you pay. You pay for the first month when you subscribe, and then the same amount each month, on the same day of the month, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise us to take each payment from the payment method you gave us. Payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe.
You can cancel at any time from your profile. Cancelling stops the next payment: you keep Standard until the end of the month you have paid for, and we do not refund part of a month, except under your right to cancel in section 5.
5. Your Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14 days start on the day you subscribe, which is the day the contract is made. The right comes with your subscription when you first take it out, not with each monthly payment after it. If you cancel and later subscribe again, the new subscription has 14 days of its own.
Starting straight away. When you subscribe, you ask us to start Standard straight away, rather than wait until the 14 days are over; the payment page says so beside the Subscribe button. If you then cancel within the 14 days, you pay for the days you have had: an amount in proportion to the month you paid for, counted up to the day you tell us you are cancelling. For example, if you cancel on day 4 of a 30-day month, you pay for 4 days and we refund the other 26.
How to cancel. Tell us that you have decided to cancel, before the 14 days are over. You can cancel from your profile, which offers the refund during the 14 days; or email hello@justpantry.app; or write to Just Pantry Limited, Suites 10 - 12 The Hive, Bell Lane, Stevenage, Herts, United Kingdom, SG1 3HW. You may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to. It is enough to send your message before the 14 days end.
Your refund. We will refund you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day you tell us, to the payment method you paid with, unless you expressly agree to something else. You will not pay any fee for the refund. Standard ends when you cancel this way, and your account moves to the free plan.
Model cancellation form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to cancel the contract.)
To Just Pantry Limited, Suites 10 - 12 The Hive, Bell Lane, Stevenage, Herts, United Kingdom, SG1 3HW, hello@justpantry.app:
I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following service: the Pantry Standard subscription.
Subscribed on: …
Name: …
Email address of my Pantry account: …
Address: …
Signature (only if this form is sent on paper): …
Date: …
6. Free Trial
New accounts get 7 days of Standard free. We do not ask for a card for the trial and nothing is charged: when the 7 days end, your account moves to the free plan, unless you subscribe. One free trial per person. We may change or end the free trial for new accounts; a trial that has already started is not affected.
7. Referrals and Free Months
You may invite friends to Pantry. If someone you invite signs up and subscribes, you earn one free month once their first 14 days have passed (the days in which they may cancel and be refunded, section 5) and they are still subscribed. If they cancel within those 14 days, no free month is earned; if they subscribe again later, it can be earned then.
A free month is a discount on your own subscription. It has no cash value, and cannot be refunded, exchanged for money, or transferred to anyone else. Each free month reduces one future invoice by the price of one month; if you have earned more than one, they apply to consecutive invoices rather than all at once.
If you cancel, any free months you have earned but not yet used stay on your account and will be applied to your invoices if you subscribe again. They do not expire and they are never paid out.
We may withhold or withdraw free months where we reasonably believe a referral was not genuine — for example, accounts created in order to refer yourself.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its related systems

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings — see our Privacy Policy for what account deletion does with your data. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.
13. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you have statutory rights to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us to resolve any dispute informally.
